More Information

We are undertaking mapping and analysis of those species most impacted by Victoria’s recent bushfires. Thank you to everyone who has ever contributed records to the Victorian Biodiversity Atlas; it is your information that has helped inform our early assessments of what is at risk. Now we are asking for any more recent and up to date information as we begin the tasks of recovery. If you have past data not publicly available please share with us to help improve the baseline information, this can be done directly to the Victorian Biodiversity Atlas (preferred), through ALA or iNaturalist. Going forward, once it is safe and the public restrictions are limited, we want to record how the biodiversity is recovering as well as were there are incursions of pest plants and animals.
