Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Reptile Hike

Temperatures are climbing, and Ranger Shaun’s on the lookout for reptiles. Come see what we can find? Come along with Ranger Shaun for a walk-and-talk on Merkle trail. While the focus of the expedition is reptiles, you never know what we might see! So, bring a water bottle, your closed toed shoes, and maybe a jacket, just in case, and let’s hit the trail! Merkle trail is a roughly 1-mile loop with portable restrooms available at the trailhead. No pets please. This trail is considered barrier free.
