Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Saguaros in Sunset

Join Ranger Jacque for a picturesque hike along the trails to see stunning saguaros as the sun sets over the San Tan Mountains. Ranger Jacque leads this picturesque hike to watch the sun set while enjoying an interpretive deep dive into the mighty saguaros. This 1.5-mile loop hike uses sections of the Littleleaf and Goldmine Trails. Expect on the hike a few spots that are uneven with small to medium rocks underfoot.   Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Flashlights are optional but may be helpful after sunset. Restrooms and water are available at the Nature Center. MEETING LOCATION: Main Trailhead picnic table Limit 20 participants. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 02/25/26.
