More Information

Welcome! Join us for a guided adventure in the beautiful McDowell Sonoran Preserve. We have something for everyone. The Conservancy relies on the generosity of donors to support our conservation efforts in the Preserve. Your contributions help us mitigate invasive species, restore burned areas, and monitor wildlife to identify current and future threats. To participate, we suggest a minimum donation of $10 per person, but feel free to give what you feel is appropriate. Your donation directly supports the protection of the Preserve and is tax-deductible. Read below for important details and then sign up! Description Before the Preserve existed, part of this land was a ranch, the historic Brown’s Ranch. Join us to explore this place, full of memories of a different way of life and hear the stories of the people who lived here not long ago. The hike is about 3.5-mile round trip on a comfortable trail with moderate elevations over about 3.5 hours. Our hikes explore the more remote areas of the Preserve. The difficulty of the hikes varies. Please come prepared and choose hikes that match your fitness level. Activities begin promptly at the start time, please arrive 15 minutes before the start to prepare and check-in.
