More Information

Welcome! Join us for a guided adventure in the beautiful McDowell Sonoran Preserve. We have something for everyone. The Conservancy relies on the generosity of donors to support our conservation efforts in the Preserve. Your contributions help us mitigate invasive species, restore burned areas, and monitor wildlife to identify current and future threats. To participate, we suggest a minimum donation of $10 per person, but feel free to give what you feel is appropriate. Your donation directly supports the protection of the Preserve and is tax-deductible. Read below for important details and then sign up! Description This walk will focus on highlighting some of the geologic features visible from the Camino Campana trail. We will discuss the rocks, landscape and geologic history with reference to how they influence the ecology and human history of the region. Our walks are usually short (around one mile in length) and easy. They often explore the interpretive trails of the Preserve, which are very accessible and near the trailheads. Activities begin promptly at the start time, please arrive 15 minutes before the start to prepare and check-in.
