More Information

Welcome! Join us for a guided adventure in the beautiful McDowell Sonoran Preserve. We have something for everyone. The Conservancy relies on the generosity of donors to support our conservation efforts in the Preserve. Your contributions help us mitigate invasive species, restore burned areas, and monitor wildlife to identify current and future threats. To participate, we suggest a minimum donation of $10 per person, but feel free to give what you feel is appropriate. Your donation directly supports the protection of the Preserve and is tax-deductible. Read below for important details and then sign up! Description Open your eyes to the Marcus Landslide geological site, second largest landslide in Arizona. This moderate educational hike will be about 4 miles in about 3 hours with 400 ft, of elevation gain. Our hikes explore the more remote areas of the Preserve. The difficulty of the hikes varies. Please come prepared and choose hikes that match your fitness level. Activities begin promptly at the start time, please arrive 15 minutes before the start to prepare and check-in.
